Best Basketball Shoes For Flat Feet: Top 5 Picks To Avoid Pain

The best basketball shoes for flat feet are usually those that provide support in areas of the arches and heels. Basketball requires speed, stamina, and endurance to be a good player. This sport can be tough on your body, including the soles of your plantar fasciitis, knees, and legs.

If you play basketball regularly with the wrong shoes you might experience the inside bottoms of your feet becoming swollen, and pain across your legs. In this article we will discuss the shoes you should get if you love playing basketball, and have flat feet (yes, there is still hope).

I have flat fleet and understand the importance of a good quality shoe. I do not save money on shoes, and always try to select the most comfortable shoes for my feet. Based personal experience, I’ve learned that Adidas offers the best basketball shoes for flat feet available today. Even though Nike has some cool basketball shoes available, they do not  offer the same comfort as Adidas (No  AJs, Kobe Bryant’s or Allen Iverson kicks on this list, however, a lot of comfort on our recommendations).

Back in school I used to play with cheap basketball shoes that I got for a few bucks. After a few days from playing with these flat shoes, I started getting awful pain on my knees to the point I couldn’t walk properly.

At first I couldn’t understand what it was. I tried stretching, and exercising my legs, however, the pain persisted. It was only until I bought a new pair of basketball shoes, and immediately noticed the difference. Since then, I only buy shoes that have arch support, and cushioning that give me the ability to perform any sport without compromising my health.

The best basketball shoes for flat feet being recommended in this article offer quality, durability, and additional factors that are important for selecting the best basketball shoe for flat feet. We’ve also looked into other customer reviews to evaluate what they have to say about the comfort of the shoe.

Prices may be a bit high at shoe stores, however, I do not recommend saving money on a good pair of shoes. Comfortable  men’s shoes for flat feet may be pricey, but you would be wise not to buy low quality shoes. Lets take a look at some basketball sneakers which include high tops, and low tops that you could find to be as comfortable as orthopedic shoes.

What Do People Have To Say About This Shoe:

"Simply put, the shoe of my dreams, maybe surpassed only by the Dame 4s, but since the Dame 3 and Dame 4s are very different shoes I feel each can stand alone in its greatness without stepping on the other's toes. Feels light on the feet and very responsive. I haven't even played around much with the different lock in variables based on the lacing system as the first eyelits I put it through felt just fine and I've never looked back. Just by slipping these on my I feel lighter on my feet, more versatile and quicker. Silly perhaps, but I feel like a basketball player is SUPPOSED to feel when I wear these. That's perhaps the greatest compliment I can give these: they make me feel like I can take on ANYBODY - ha ha. Looks are important too, and although these might appear slightly ugly under the lights of the shoe store when held in your hand, or when viewing a photo, trust me when I tell you they look BAD A** on the foot from almost every angle. The only problem some might have is that most novices are not going to recognize this shoe and they'll think it is some no name brand as the Adidas logo is not noticeable and Dame is not a top level NBA star. Do i care? No. But some people might. However you will get major street cred among people that do actually recognize it and it's prowess on the court."
